Raising $100,000 will allow Center for Metal Arts to restore the 2000-lb self-contained Chambersburg air hammer in the historic Cambria Iron and Steel Octagon. This will achieve the goal of having all three industrial forging hammers in the Octagon restored and ready for use by the greater forging community.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has received a $3.5 million grant from the Windgate Foundation to endow the directorship of its School of Education. This gift will support the transformation of teacher education at UA Little Rock in its quest to become a premier provider of teachers in the state.

The gift addresses critical needs in the Arkansas River Valley, creating a pathway to dramatically increase nursing graduates and cultivating an immersive arts experience for students and the public through the expansion of the Windgate Art and Design building and its offerings.
